Clinics trust us with records about animals and the people who care for them. This is how we look after that information.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Curiorivet handles information from three groups: veterinary clinics and their staff who use the software, pet owners and farmers whose details a clinic records, and visitors to this website.

For owner, animal and farm records, the clinic decides what is recorded and why. Curiorivet stores and processes that information on the clinic’s behalf and only on its instructions.

What we collect

Clinic account details: clinic name, city, the names and email addresses of staff, and plan and billing information.
Records a clinic enters: owner and farm contact details, animal details such as species, breed, weight, ear tag or microchip number, visit history, vaccinations, prescriptions, lab reports and images.
Consult audio, only when a vet uses AI Clinical Notes and the owner has given consent.
Messages sent through Owner Reminders and the replies owners send back.
Website form details: the name, email, clinic and message you send through the signup or contact forms.
Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service working and secure.

How we use it

To run the features the clinic uses: booking, records, schedules, pharmacy, farm visits, notes and reminders.
To send owners the reminders their clinic has switched on, in the language saved on their record.
To draft clinical notes from a vet’s dictation. Drafts are shown only to the clinic and saved only after a vet approves them.
To create your account, send login details and reply to your questions.
To bill the clinic for its plan and for WhatsApp and SMS usage.

We do not use owner or farm data to advertise, and we do not build profiles of pet owners or farmers.

AI Clinical Notes and audio

Recording starts only after the vet confirms that the owner has agreed. The consent is stored on the visit.

Audio is encrypted in transit and at rest and is used only to produce the draft note. Clinics can choose to delete audio automatically once a note is signed.

Clinic records are not used to train AI models for other customers.

We never sell owner, animal or farm data. We share information only with service providers we need to run Curiorivet, such as cloud hosting, message delivery for WhatsApp and SMS, email delivery and payment processing. Each is bound to use the data only to provide that service.

We may disclose information when the law requires it. Where we are allowed to, we tell the clinic first.

How we protect it

Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
Role-based access so each staff member sees only what their role allows.
Activity logs for record edits, dispensing and note approvals.
Regular backups kept in separate storage.

How long we keep it

Clinic records are kept for as long as the clinic’s account is active. When an account closes, the clinic can export its data, after which it is deleted from live systems within 90 days and from backups on their normal cycle.

Messages sent through the website forms are kept as long as needed to answer them and manage any account that follows.

Your choices and rights

Owners and farmers who want to see, correct or remove their information should contact their clinic, which controls those records. We help clinics respond to such requests.

Owners can stop reminders at any time by replying to a message with the opt-out word shown in it.

Clinic users can update their own account details in settings or by writing to us through the contact page.

Cookies

This website uses a session cookie to protect the signup and contact forms with a check question. The Curiorivet app uses cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes and questions

If we make a material change to this policy, we will tell clinic account holders by email before it takes effect.
